Cancelled----Wickiup Race: May 25, 2013
Cause--- 3 Cry Babies ATR
AZOP is a customer service based organization trying to give the AZ racers new and exciting races, we are very sorry to have to cancel because of a few people that don’t understand what that is.
Remember when you are signing up for an event that ATR is in charge of they turned away several riders last year ( In Wickiup) that drove 140 miles to race all because they missed a rider meeting and were pre entered. These guys think they own the trails in AZ and act like anyone trying to do more for the rider community become their enemy’s.
It is a fact that for profit racing organizations put on more organized events then volunteer organizations, AZOP is also a long time supporter of AMRA and want the best for the riders. The National Enduro Series would have been finished if they hadn’t changed to a for profit organization. WEBE OFFROAD is a for profit organization that puts on great races, most people that know us realize we don’t make much money if any and put what we do make back into the organization to try and give back to the riding and racing community.
Once again we are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Race Formats
Hare Scrambles: typically run primarily on single track or tighter tracks in a continuous loop format. Race duration typically ranges about 2hrs. Loops typically vary from 10-30 miles.
Grand Prix: typically located adjacent to and comprises part of an MX track. May mix off road sections, single track sections, MX sections, flat track sections and hill climb sections, in a localized setting with continuous loops of the same course. Race duration about 1 hour.
Desert Course: Wider faster roads with typically 20 plus mile loops. This is usually faster mileage per hour.
